Mrs. Bain called the meeting to order at 3:38 p.m.

1. Members – Mrs. Bain introduced new members. Members are:

2. District Improvement Plan – Mrs. Bain explained the requirements of the District Improvement Plan. Mr. Congleton went over the 2006-07 district surveys. Mrs. Bain presented TAKS results. Mrs. Bain assigned each member of the team to a group for assessing, evaluating and updating the District Improvement Plan. Teams are:

Curriculum and Instruction: Bruce Congleton, Julie Goodson, and Amanda Masterson and Bonnie McGee

Attendance: Matt Tyner, Heather Wheeler, and Inez Dale

Technology: Susan McCann, Courtni Frizzell, and Leslie Joslin

Staff Development: Rebecca Bain, Terrie Hagood, and Kelly Brown

Safe and Orderly Environment: Joyce Whatley, LaQuita Zenkner, Ann Smith, Vicky Williams

Parental Involvement: Peggy Brumit, Debbie Carnes, Shari Jackson, Kristie Morgan and Roma Smith

3. Next Meeting – The date for the next meeting will be October 24, 2007. Suggested agenda items were:

1. A Plan for Zero Tolerance (grades)

2. Technology Planning (State Plan)

4. Adjourn/Teams - The meeting was adjourned. Teams stayed to work on District Plan.
