IMPROVEMENT TEAM

Present: Heather Wheeler, Kelly Brown, Matt Tyner, Leslie Joslin, LaQuita Zenkner, Courtni Frizzell, Terrie Hagood, Joyce Whatley, Peggy Brumit, Bonnie McGee, and Rebecca Bain
Mrs. Bain called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.
1. District Improvement Plan The committee reviewed the plan. They will recommend the plan to the Superintendent.
2. TEEG and DATE Awards Mrs. Bain reviewed TEAs TEEG Cycle 3 Award and DATE award. She presented a powerpoint presentation highlighting all the requirements of the two awards. Hallie Randall Elementary has been awarded $40,000 from TEEG Cycle 3. The DATE award amount for the district is $20,715. The District Improvement Team will make a DATE plan to be approved by the DIT, campus teachers of campuses selected, and the school board. This will be discussed at next meeting.
3. Next Meeting The date for the next meeting will be January 22, 2007 at 2:00 in the high school library. Agenda items will be:
