Mr. Griffin
Mr. Griffin is a graduate of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He received a Masters of Education at Baylor University. After graduating from Baylor he taught at Waco Midway ISD and later DeSoto ISD before moving to Lindale ISD. He moved to East Texas with his family to become the principal of Velma Penny and E.J. Moss Intermediate where he worked for 17 years. Upon retiring in January 2010, after 33 years of service in public education, he worked for a year and a half for Rockin’ C Ranch before deciding to come to work at Fruitvale. “I enjoy working with students very much" stated Mr. Griffin, “the students at Fruitvale have great potential. My goal is to provide the opportunity for all the students to reach their highest potential, through hard work and being a responsible young person.”
Mr. Griffin resides in Lindale with his wife, Bonnie. They have two grandsons and enjoy spending time with them. Mr. Griffin loves the outdoors and enjoys camping and playing golf with his three sons.
