Peggy Brumit

Our principal is Peggy Brumit. This is Mrs. Brumit's thirty-second year in education. Twenty nine of those years serving in Fruitvale Independent School District. Twelve of those years as principal of Hallie Randall Elementary.

Mrs. Brumit attended Tyler Junior College and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Stephen F. Austin University. She received her Masters in Library Science from Texas A&M at Commerce. She also received her Supervision and Mid-Management certificate from Texas A&M University.

Mrs.Brumits' husband, Rodney works for Lone Oak ISD where he is employed as the transportation director. Mr. and Mrs. Brumit have 10 grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Brumit enjoys quiet evenings and music from the 50's and 60's. Mrs. Brumit loves going to antique auctions, reading,and listening to books on tape.

This is what she says about her job at Hallie Randall Elementary: I love my job! I get to work with the most awesome, caring staff and faculty. I get to see the most amazing children come in as our babies, learn, grow and move on to junior high, high school and on out into the world. I get to be involved with some real special parents who suppport the education of their children. We have a much stronger school district than we have ever had before.
