Mr. Harford received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA.  After graduation he taught Junior High and High School Social Studies along with coaching in Alexandria, LA. In 2006 he moved to Tyler, TX where he taught Social Studies at Robert E. Lee High School. In 2008 he began in administration as the High School Assistant Principal in Elkhart ISD.  Prior to coming to Fruitvale he was the Junior High Assistant Principal in Brownsboro ISD for four years.

He has spent the last eight years in Fruitvale. The first six as the Principal of the junior high and high school and the last two as Dean of Academic Services.

Mr. Harford is married and has two children.  He enjoys sports and is an avid LSU fan.
