Last Thursday, the high school boys went to Mineola to run in their first meet of the year. It was a great place to run. Lucus Hendrix and Keith Gardner ran hard against some bigger schools. Our times were not as good as they both would have hoped for, but I believe nerves and starting too fast hurt their times. 

Saturday the Jr. High ran. Brooklyn Brown ran a 15:15 two mile run to finish in 9th place out of around 50 runners.  Tanner Bumgardner came in 27th place, Jason Servin came in 29th place and Zach Martin came in 37th place out of around 50 runners.

Very proud of all these students. They get here early in the morning and run 4 days a week. I do hope they stick with it and we can build a good program here.
