The Fruitvale Bobcats traveled to Savoy for their first district game of the season. The boys were able to dominate from start to finish and come away with a 54-6 win. The boys continuously got stop after stop on defense and converted every opportunity on offense into a score. Kaleb Coleman and Jason Burke led our offense with some great blocking from Ronnie Foster, CJ Russell, and Clyde Bumgardner. Defensively, the Bobcats were led by Burke and Russell with Trysten Norris providing some much needed support in the secondary. Tyler Callaway, Ryan Gardner, and Kameryn Norris played hard and made great plays on both sides of the ball. Tanner Bumgardner came into the second half and ran the ball hard and had a big sack on defense.
I'm super proud of all the boys and I'm so happy we're picking up the momentum right when we need it.
We play at home against Campbell next Friday and I would love to have as many fans as possible at the game. This is a huge game for us and we need all the support we can get!
