What a great night for our boys! They faced adversity early when being down by 3, but they did not let it phase them. We had great pitching, hitting, and base running with only 2 or 3 errors in the game. We came back from behind to score a maximum 5 runs in the 3rd inning to clinch the win!
Pitching: Carsyn Moulder: 2/3rds of the 1st inning; Jed Boysen: 3 and a quarter innings. Great defense behind them by Westin Akins, Tyler Jones, Paxton Ferguson, Jose Rodriguez, James Norris and Neil Baxter who made an awesome winning catch!
The bats came through in a big way with Westin Akins, Lucas Bierl, Adam Chavez, and Jayden Watson.
We also had great base running from Braeylon Lewis, Cole Good, Elijah Talasek, and Cash Butler. Thank you to Ryland Robinson for being a great warm up catcher; this is a massive help to our team!
Every one on the roster knew their job and did great as a team! This is the first win of many to come for our program! These boys are the future of Fruitvale Baseball! Please congratulate them on overcoming many obstacles to win their first game!
