If your students' safety and security are the first thing that popped in your head, we understand! Did you know:

**Every classroom in the buiilding has a phone equipped to dial 911.

**Students may use a classroom phone or the office phone to call home with teacher's permission.

**FISD has the BEST front office staff (Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Browning) and they would be happy to take your call if you need to connect to your student or to get them information!

**Make sure you are signed up for School Messenger and follow the Fruitvale ISD Facebook page for emails, emergency phone calls, and notifications to provide up-to-date general information and in case of emergency situations.

**It is perfectly ok if you want your student to have a phone and bring it to school. We know how important phones are for after-school activities and those students who may walk home.

**Students will be provided clear expectations from principals and teachers at the beginning of school.
